Like so many Filipino's, Leslie’s parents immigrated to the United States after WWII. Born and raised in Kitsap County, Leslie met her husband Daryl when they worked together at the R&H Market.
All three of their children were born at Harrison Memorial Hospital and graduated from Bremerton High School. Leslie  ran a before and after school program for children, as well as being a foster parent to 54 children.  Leslie enjoys playing soccer three to four times a week at Pendergast Park. Additionally, Leslie worked in Campus Security for the Bremerton School District for many years.
